The Snohomish School District will be offering the ACT (American College Test) free of charge for all high school juniors in March 2026 during the school day. This is an amazing opportunity for students to take a college entrance exam at no cost to families and for our schools to collect data that will help improve student learning. As a district, offering free ACT reflects our commitment to eliminating barriers to career and college readiness.

Human Growth and Development is taught each year during 5th and 6th grade and Sexual Health will be taught in 7th, 8th and 9th grade. Families are invited to attend a Tuesday, November 18, webinar to learn about the health standards, activities and resources that will be used to teach each of the topics, and the opt-out process. Being in school on time, all day, every day makes a big difference for student success. Starting as early as kindergarten, consistent attendance helps children build strong learning habits, stay connected with their peers, and stay on track toward high school graduation.
